Principal's Welcome

Education Philosophy

The focus of the NDES curriculum is on the progression of developmentally age appropriate skills, concepts, and learning processes in all subjects. Small class sizes and a small student body enable teachers and administrators to address the individual needs of students with different levels of cognitive, social, and educational development. NDES supports a philosophical foundation of intellectual growth, enthusiasm for lifetime learning, development of leadership skills, good citizenship, and social responsibility. Christian values and Catholic leadership are integrated into the daily life and classroom work to insure a solid foundation of success in all aspects of education and life.

NWEA Map Growth Exams

NDES administers the NWEA MAP GROWTH EXAMS of standardized achievement tests in all grades. These tests are given three times a year in order to show the students' academic growth.
